Good rivers to paddle
Hi its alex from frome canoe club and good trip to paddle is at bradford on avon .
We were at the club house in frome at a mad time of 9am. We loaded up cars at the and were looking at the the weather it was really windy, so we changed our minds and went to bradford in stead of bath to saltford. So with there being younger paddlers and some canadians me being one of them. We got to the car park in bradford on avon and lumbered the boats down the path and over the railings. We all got on the water and paddeled up stream with my companian vicky we padderled up the stream to a massive wier. This was a pull over the top and we we away again. We paddeled past the bradford music festival and listened to the music as we passed. We came to some sailers so we turned around and headed back down the wier. We were all getting hungerey by now so we got back out and messed around in the park. After some food we all got back in our boats and i had anouther paddeler this time, but he was left handed and gave the left handed paddles to vicky. so that was quicky 3 in a boat and a tow. We played on the river and were raft running all afternoon with some spectators. We loaded up the boats and got changed as quicky as possible as the toilets only have you a limited time. We arived back in frome at 5 and heaed home for a warm shower.
